Cossmic uses the cookies needed to run the product securely, plus — on our public marketing website only — a privacy-preserving analytics cookie to understand aggregate traffic. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.

These are strictly necessary for the service to function. You cannot turn them off without breaking core features such as signing in.

Authentication & session: keep you signed in and protect your session.
Security: help detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.
Preferences: remember basic choices such as your theme.

Analytics cookies — public website only

On our public marketing website (Cossmic.in) we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, non-identifying traffic patterns — which pages are visited and how visitors find us. This is a non-essential cookie.

Cookies set: _ga and _gid — first-party cookies on our own domain, not third-party advertising cookies.
We enable IP anonymisation, so full IP addresses are not stored.
This analytics data is processed by Google as our analytics provider.
Analytics runs only on the public marketing website. It is never loaded inside the authenticated Cossmic product, so no candidate, employee, or hiring data is ever sent to an analytics provider.

What we don't do

No advertising or retargeting cookies.
No cross-site or third-party tracking pixels.
No selling of browsing data.

Your choices

You can opt out of analytics at any time — none of it is required to use Cossmic:

Clear or block cookies in your browser settings (blocking essential cookies will stop you from signing in).
Install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent analytics on every site, including ours.
